Your data, kept small.

This page is maintained by Jeron J Mulder and describes how the apps on this site — including Arnol Trainer and Halal Ramen Noodle — collect, use, and protect your information.

Who runs these apps

The apps and this website are operated by Jeron J Mulder, an independent developer. There is no parent company, advertiser, or external team with access to your information.

What is collected

The goal is to collect as little as possible. Across all apps, the only data routinely collected is what is strictly needed for the app to work, plus anonymous crash diagnostics so I can fix bugs.

  • App preferences and settings, stored on your device.
  • Anonymous crash reports and basic device model / OS version when a crash occurs.
  • If you write in to support, the email address and message you send.

The apps do not contain third-party advertising SDKs or behavioural tracking.

Arnol Trainer specifics

Workout history, routines, and notes are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud or Google Drive backup, that data syncs through your own account — Jeron J Mulder does not have access to it.

No health, biometric, or location data is read from system APIs unless you explicitly enable an integration (for example, writing workouts to Apple Health), and you can revoke that permission at any time in system settings.

Halal Ramen Noodle specifics

Saved recipes, favourites, and shop bookmarks are stored locally on your device. If you opt in to share your approximate location, it is used only to sort nearby shops in your current session and is not transmitted to a server or stored.

Submissions (recipe ideas, new shop suggestions) are sent by email when you tap "Submit" and are treated as support correspondence.

How it is used

  • To operate the app feature you requested.
  • To diagnose crashes and improve reliability.
  • To respond to your support messages.

Your data is never sold, rented, or used to build advertising profiles.

Sharing & subprocessors

A small number of third-party services help run the apps. They only receive what they need to perform their function:

  • Apple App Store / Google Play — purchases, downloads, and subscription state.
  • Crash reporting — anonymised crash traces (no personal content of your notes, sessions, or recipes).
  • Email provider — used to receive and reply to support mail.

Retention & deletion

Local app data lives on your device until you delete the app or clear it from within the app. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to help you, and then archived. You can request deletion of any support correspondence by emailing the address below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information held about you. Because most data lives on your device, you can exercise most of these rights yourself in the app's settings. For anything held on the support side, write to the contact address and your request will be handled within 30 days.

Children

These apps are not directed at children under 13, and no information is knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, please write in and it will be deleted.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the "Last updated" date at the top will change and, for material updates, an in-app notice will be shown the next time you open the app.
